Bocs pears are a very unique European pear. They are sweet and flavorful and can be enjoyed before their flesh has fully softenend. Checking the stem-end for softness is the best way to tell if a Bosc pear is ripe! Their color may change slightly (undertone more yellow than green) but they stay more firm than traditional pears making them ideal for baking or cooking! They're also a fantastic eating pear!
